BOOKING

Dreamsea Bali is super popular, so booking in advance is a must, especially during peak seasons. You can book through their official website, Booking.com, or Airbnb. Some rooms sell out weeks ahead, so don’t wait until the last minute if you want the best ocean view.

Location

Dreamsea is right on the cliffs of Uluwatu, one of the best places in Bali for surfers and digital nomads. It’s close to Padang Padang Beach and Uluwatu Beach, making it ideal if you’re here to surf. It’s also just a few steps away from Uluwatu town where the vibrant cafes and shops. The location is stunning, but getting to the hotel isn’t the easiest—more on that later.

Views and Vibes

The views here are next level. Whether you’re waking up to sunrise over the ocean or chilling in the communal area, every corner is a photo op. The vibe is laid-back and social—expect a mix of surfers, solo travellers, and couples. It’s a good spot to meet people, especially if you join one of the yoga sessions or hang out in the café or at the beach.

Food & Dining

Dreamsea Bali has an on-site restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a bite while soaking in the views. Their à la carte breakfast is a standout, offering fresh smoothie bowls, avocado toasts, and other Instagram-worthy dishes. The menu is limited but well-curated, focusing on fresh, healthy ingredients. While the food is delicious, if you’re staying longer, you might want to explore nearby restaurants for more variety.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • Steep Stairs: You have to climb down a ton of stairs to get to the property—not fun with heavy luggage.
  • Limited Dining: The on-site café is good but doesn’t have a huge menu, so you’ll need to go out for variety.
  • No AC in Some Rooms: Some rooms rely on fans, which isn’t ideal in Bali’s heat.
  • Not Super Private: Because of the open design, it’s not the quietest stay if you want total seclusion.

Final Thoughts

Despite a few minor disadvantages, Dreamsea Bali is hands down my favorite place to stay in Bali. I absolutely love the aesthetics, the insane views, and just the whole atmosphere.
